  • bcdedit/set{default}bootmenupolicy legacy
  • Now restart your PC and press F8 key continuously until the windows logo appears and which will take you to the Advanced boot options menu and choose the safe mode with networking and press enter. And finally safe mode will be activated.

  1. Fixing the Driver 
  1. Press Windows logo + R to open the Run Window.
  2. Type the following command in the search bar “eventvwr” and press enter. 
  3. And click on System thread exception not handling error and which will allow you to view the driver. You can also filter the drivers based on date and time. 
  4. And to fix this driver fault, you need to update the driver to the latest version or roll them back to the previous version or just simply reinstall the driver to fix this problem. 
  1. Uninstall/ Reinstall the Display Driver

Press the windows logo + R to open Run and type the following “msinfo32” and press enter. And system properties will be shown in a window. Note down the system type and download the driver but if your PC does not have the external graphics card installed then your PC has an integrated display adapter embedded to the motherboard. So you need to go to the official site of the motherboard manufacturer and download the latest version for your graphics adapter. 

  1. Changing the Sound Driver to default

The sound driver fault will result in BSoD error and this occurs due to the driver C-media USB Audio class 1.0 and 2.0 DAC device driver. And updating this driver will not fix this problem so you need to uninstall the driver and restarting your PC will install the default sound card driver. 

Press the Windows logo + R key to open the Run window and type the following “devmgmt.msc” and press enter which will take you to the device manager. In the Device manager, under the sound class uninstall the driver which is named as the C-media USB Audio Class 1.0 and 2.0 DAC Device Driver. And Delete the Driver software for the device and click ok. Now, restart your PC and your PC will reinstall the sound card driver to the default. 

  1. Scanning and Repairing the System Files 

Sometimes system corrupted files will lead to system thread exception not handling. You can easily fix this problem by using the CHKDSK to check the corrupted file in your system if found. Now press the windows logo + R key to open the Run window and type the command “cmd” in the search bar. And press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run as administrator. And type “SFC/scannow” and press enter which will take some time to scan your system file which will fix your system thread exception not handling BSoD error.

  2. And there three types of different options are shown one-by-one and firstly, click on reset this PC option which will return your PC to the preview build and advanced startup. And the advanced startup will boot your USB drive or drive and roll back to the previous version of the OS.
  3. And under the reset option, click on Keep my files or eliminate everything and if you would like to maintain your file and data which will roll back to the default and it will uninstall the event.
  4. And click on Only remove file or remove files and clean out the driveway will eliminate everything from the previous step. Or if you’re giving your PC to someone then it is difficult to delete your Documents and files one-by-one just simply select the option only remove files and clean out the driveway which will roll back your System to the previous version of OS. 
  5. And now you need to click on the reset option. To solve the system thread exception not handling BSoD error.
